Beginning Your BOC Exam Study Journey

First of all, it is important to realize that there is no one perfect way to prepare for an exam or study for the BOC exam. You should find ways that work best for your personality and schedule.

For example, some people like to study in a group setting while others prefer studying alone. Some people like to take practice exams while others prefer reading over notes and textbooks. The key is finding what works best for you and then sticking with it.

Preparing for an exam is a daunting task. It requires a lot of time and effort, but it is worth it in the end. It’s important to start preparing as soon as possible. The earlier you start, the more time you will have to study for the BOC exam and the less stressful it will be on you.

There are many ways to prepare for your athletic training exam, but some of the most popular ones are:

  • Take practice exams: They give you a sense of what to expect and how difficult the test will be
  • Take notes: You should take notes on everything that you learn so that when it comes time for your exam, there is no information that you need to look up or remember
  • Create flashcards: Flashcards can help with memorization and they also give you

Study according to your strengths. If you’re a more visual learner, then use images and videos. If you’re more of an auditory learner, then use podcasts or audiobooks, or read aloud to yourself or your roommate. It’s important that you create a schedule for yourself that includes study time every day or every other day. Create a study plan that includes topics in order of importance and difficulty level. This way, you will know what topics need more attention and which ones can wait until later on in your studies.

ATStudy Buddy can help, too. We offer tons of practice exams that you can take as many times as you want and receive feedback based on Athletic Training domains. You can also go back and review what you got wrong. Reviewing the areas you need to improve on can help you hone in on areas that you need to spend more time on, saving you valuable study time by ignoring the things you already know inside and out. ATStudy Buddy also provides flashcards, study outlines, and games to help you not only have fun but focus on those areas you’ve highlighted for improvement.

I know the BOC exam is stressful – I’ve taken it myself (on April Fool’s day!). You’ve come a long way to be able to take this exam. Don’t let your hard work go to waste by cramming the night before. Have a BOC study plan and commit to it. And remember, we’re always here for guidance and support.

Happy studying!
